Try this all natural, dairy free, guilt free, 2 ingredient ice cream recipe!
- 3 ripe bananas , sliced and frozen
- 8-10 frozen strawberries, frozen
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
Add your frozen banana slices and frozen strawberries to your blender or food processor. I use my high powered blender. So every so often I pause the blender and mix with a spoon, just to be sure it is evenly blended nice and smooth.
You will start to notice your frozen banana and strawberries become a rich ice cream constancy. This is when you can add in your vanilla extract (totally optional).
I then pour my ice cream into small mason jars.
Add whatever toppings you choose (optional). You can now eat the ice cream as is.
If you do not like your ice cream soft served, put in the freezer for a few hours and then you will have rich creamy hard served ice cream.
Not a huge banana fan? Neither am I, feel free to add a few more strawberries, or even hand stir in a few chocolate chips, almonds etc.
